Moving Forward with Digital Transformation
University refreshes the Digital Transformation website to provide more clarity, specificity, and project expectations

Trinity’s Digital Transformation (DX) will reform the University’s core technical platforms, providing streamlined workflows, and integrated data through a modern, cloud-based solution.

Does this sound familiar? Perhaps.

But, what does it mean? To help ensure clarity of purpose, transparency of project outcomes, and provide support during this multi-year initiative, the website was redesigned.

The website is now organized to articulate Why Now? Expected Outcomes, Scope and Timeline. From here, visitors can drill into specific projects, (e.g., Student Information System and Canvas LMS) or quick reference guides.

The website now has a dedicated place to help students, faculty, staff, and the broader community learn about each project, who is involved, and how they may be impacted.

Change is happening at an unprecedented pace and each member of the Trinity community is important as we embrace digital transformation.

Looking Forward

DX is comprised of eight projects that are intended to replace outdated systems with systems that will improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and the end user satisfaction.

Overseeing DX is the newly formed Project Portfolio Management Office (PPMO). The PPMO is excited to be able to bring DX resources in-house and hope that you take time to explore the website and dive into projects that are most meaningful to you.

The website is intended to serve as a core resource to get support for active projects, to provide transparency of project outcomes goals, and to empower our community to stay informed about this significant initiative.

Michelle Bartonico ’08 is the Senior Strategist and Project Manager of the Project Portfolio Management Office-Center of Excellence (PPMO-COE).
